I take it you're not jumping the vehicle or heavily mistreating? I have 65k on mine without on single issue. *knock wood* Not so much as a damn lightbulb. Its been in the shop for AFTERMARKET issues, aftermarket exhaust install ruined an o2 sensor.

I suppose sometimes its just a ****** vehicle.

I guess I could have stuck it under the other thread. It is another failure. It also has turbo failures, And IWE failures. And several other issue. But mainly transmission failures.

If an admin wants to move it go ahead. I actually own and maintain the Polaris Slingshot forum www.slingshotinfo.com so I should have considered placing it there. It should have enough different content that it can stand on its own though.

Good question, but given the context, I think it deserves it's own thread because it's not just the tranny and it could easily be overlooked if it was appended onto the end of that thread.

I called Ford and had a lady give me a case number. (I don't say this to be ugly) She just doesn't have any ability to do anything. I only have the 800 number that gets you to customer service. I have spoke to her each week. You can even tell that she is out of stuff to say at this point.

As far as being rough on a vehicle.... Nope ... I have not added any programmers or aftermarket items other then fog lights. Here is a recent picture of it. I love my raptor.... I just wish it was repaired..

Damn, that's a lot of issues for a relatively new vehicle. The only good thing is it's under warranty. I wouldn't be surprised if Ford stepped up and paid for your payments while your truck was in the shop, but they did give you a rental it appears. (i know not the same). I myself would probably just trade it in on a new Raptor, you obviously got a lemon or close to it, it happens with every manufacturer. Now if you had the same thing happen with every Ford you purchased, then go get a TRX, but why not just trade up and say good bye to this mess, I'm sure Ford would help out.

No, no. no man I didn't mean anything by this other than I wasn't following the timeline very well. But I get it now. What a disaster. No manufacturer makes vehicle this poorly so clearly something has happened, man I hope you guys get something worked out it sounds like past the time to get rid of it. Where is that Sasquatch feller' he needs a new truck!

Have you consulted an attorney? I know there are some lemon laws that can force a buy back but it’s probably different state to state. I’ve personally had 3 vehicles bought back over the years. It’s a bit of a pain but can be done.

I also want to say thanks to yall for not jumping on me for only posting when something is wrong. I guess I should participate more but when everything is going good I am always busy playing outside and doing stuff with the family.

Its only when things go bad that I reach out for help.

Here are my other Fords I have had. I love Ford. I just dont think I want another Ford unless something happens that really impresses me.
