Very interested to hear what everyone has to say about this. My 2012 Screw does the same thing but it happens almost every time I drive it even if its just a gentle cruise from work to home (about 10 miles of back roads). Looked at the typical "hot spots" for any sign of anything touching the exhaust/motor and everything looks good.

Here's the angle it was sitting at. Doesn't seem that bad. Was getting alot of highbeam flashes at night.

Possibly with the heavy load your rear tires were slipping a tiny bit causing them to overheat on the ice. I've burned my tires in deep snow before, so a slight possibility.

It might be worthwhile to have your dealership take a look, SonofSaber. What's your truck's current mileage?

Just turned 60,000. And I have very little faith in either of my local dealers... I wouldn't even let them wash it for fear of them ******** something up lol I just changed my serpentine belt thinking that maybe that was the issue but it still does it. I also checked to make sure all the pulleys were good while the belt was off and found nothing out of the ordinary.

Interior rubber/chemical smell inside the cab ?

Anyone ever figure out where the odor was coming from ? I read a post about a leaking evaporator had caused a chemical/bandaid smell , wondering if that could be it or not ? I rarely use my Ac , so not sure if it's leaking or not .
