Last summer in Arizona where I lived the temperature got up to 122* and it was nice and cool in my 2019 Raptor, although I did put window tinting on .I'm kicking around the idea of picking up a new Raptor. I live in Phoenix and it gross here in the summer, typically 110-115F during the summer months. I had a new 2012 F150 and the AC in that truck was barely adequate, basically never came off max fan speed, was the main reason I sold that truck. Currently have a 22 Yukon duramax and its AC is phenomenal, absolutely freezes you out but I miss a truck and love the way the 3rd gens look.
So how's your AC in the nasty summer months? Does it stay cold in traffic? I tried to search but could only find threads about issues/problem with them not blowing cold.
thanks all!
Get it tested and or serviced. My 2020 does great in Florida heat and humidity. That's good to hear. My gen 2 is barely adequate. Happily, 100 degrees here is an event.
Even @slimmytimmy information……lolGreat info, thank everyone!
Similar experience. Had my compressor replaced under warranty last summer. It works ok . Never felt it was ICE COLD like some of the other posts. I have a gen 2 .I’m just going to be the one that says it. The AC in this truck is probably the worst I’ve had in all my vehicles the last 10 years, especially for rear passengers. It’s not a total deal breaker but the fact that the outside and rear vents don’t blow for $hit is really annoying. All I can say is thank goodness for auto start.
