There is a way to get extra use out of the tie downs. Pretty sure somebody on FRF has posted a picture, I will try to find it later. Basically you braid a rope between two tie downs. If you do it right you end up with a bunch of locations(loops) you can anchor things to either with gear ties or velcro straps etc. Works real slick for things like shovels not so much for a heavy jack. I will try to find a picture to show what I am rambling about.
Also, cutting around the bedliner is not so bad. I had mine sprayed then put in the D-rings.

My Garmin doesn't allow for uploading of routes. I did copy in the file but it just shows certain waypoints. So it's sorta beneficial for that but not following the specific route.

If the mount shows up on Monday for my Lowrance we will have two gps units with us. Should anyone need to bug out and they don't have a gps with them we would gladly loan out our Garmin.

Sorry Huck didn't realize you were stuck waiting on shipping. Well if there is anything you need let me know. We are not too far south of you if something comes up.
