Huck has been hard at work putting together some cool routes for us. RW and I were looking it over last night, and you guys are in for a real treat.

The first day we cover a lot of miles to the grass lands and back. The second day we cover some good elevation.

Your kids won't need any in flight DVDs for this trip! :D

We have our tent related camping box packed, working on the kitchen box now. Picked up a few pelican cases a while back when work wanted to toss them. They are making great camping boxes and should be able to secure two down against the tailgate. That should give me about 12" between them and the tool box to put gas cans. Amazing how fast these small beds fill up.

Also got my Wouxun and have it programmed. Truck is getting tinted tomorrow and I will mount the tool box later this week so I can start packing tools.

Picked this up to supplement the high lift and factory jack.

I thought I remember seeing our camping sites listed somewhere on here. Does anyone know which numbers they are? I was thinking 74-77 was on the list. Do they have power?

That jack is a great concept, even modified my toolbox to accept it... But it went to the trash when it failed on its first shift. Luckily had several other raptors on hand, but IMO not worth lugging around. I now carry a HF alum floorjack (fits in my bed mounted fat max toolbox) as my as well as the HiLift.

We have two spots with full hook-ups, 59 and 60 and I know some people were thinking of bringing extension cords. You were planning on being up there early right? I can add an extra spot with hook-ups if we need. Joe and I plan on taking 59 for our pop-up, so that leaves 60. Big blue is bringing his manly ORV, but I'm not sure if he needs hook-ups with it. If your getting there early, set up at 60.

If anyone else needs hook-ups let me know.

Someone can take my camp spot, ill just cuddle up between joe and wifey.

Actually as its getting closer. Lets take a moment to break down the equipment we are bringing. As people are starting to load up and such I bring this up as we don't need 18 hi-lifts, etc. I found myself laying out all im bring in my truck this weekend and was running out of bed space quickly.

Outside of the required equipment - See first post.

I will have an xtra spare tire (thanks big blue)
I will be carrying 10 gallons of fuel.
Yeti for lunch food
Canopy incase of rain for lunch

I dont believe we will need a come-along for anything, nor will i bring my floor jack.

I would like to just cut down on multiple redundant tools if possible. This is a "No one gets left behind" run, so if there is an issue, we all stop till it is resolved.

I will have my come-along, high lift and floor jack just because they are already there. I also will have 10 gallons of gas. My truck has a winch and I will have snatch block etc to go with. Wooden blocks for the jack and toolbox with normal hand tools. I also have a spare serpentine belt for the 6.2 that rides around in the truck since I don't bother to take it out.
I will probably be taking part of this stuff out to make room for stuffed animals and other "must have" items when the kids start ******** up my organization :D

I should add that we will be carrying Tylenol, Advil sunburn stuff etc with us too should anyone need anything like that. When two ocd pharmacists travel together we should be prepared for most anything you would want to treat with an over the counter medication.
