Table is officially on my list

Anyone in need of fuel jugs... I bought several sizes when i was building my race rack. My garage looks like a Exxon holding station right now... Will trade a jug for a beer at the deadwood camp bar. Have blue VP ones, tall scepter jerry can style, as well as traditional gas station cube ones

Definitley SCAB guys, bring 10 gallons of fuel. Mandatory - We will need it. Most of the small towns we pass through do not have a fuel stations. and the nearest to the campground is 15 minutes or so away in dead wood. I have tried to modify the routes based on fuel, but in the middle of bum F*$&$#% nowhere, theres limited fuel unless you on the main highway.

I thought mike was hauling a water buffalo of fuel for us?

We don't need the power, was just going to bring extension cords and lights if it was going to be there. Already have the lanterns packed.

Was planning on setting up on 75 or 76 if the are our spots. Figured we would take advantage of having the covered table to cook and eat at. Speaking of which I will throw an extra tarp and line in the truck so we can shield one side from the wind or rain if the weather turns crappy.

Yup, 75 and 76 (72-the spaces between 77 and 78) are our spots for the weekend. I think we figured we can run the extension cords across to the two full hook up sites or maybe even across the creek to Ironmans cabin?

Mr. Luke you so bossy!!!!!!!!!! :bleh:

We are still talking about final routes and how to break up everything we wanted to do. Who's my person that is cutting out on Sunday? I should know this, but I can't quite recall at the moment...:frown:

Cool, we'll probably setup down at the end of 77 as close to the creek as we can. That way we are out of the way as much as possible for when everyone starts setting up, our tent is 7'x14' so I don't want to hog the smaller areas.

Joe and I discussed the 10 gallon for scabs today during the day. That's why I threw it in there.

For fuel stations I pulled up google maps and searched "fuel" so that's what I passed on.

Yeah, I had only run across the satilite view of that one on google maps while checking out the area. It shows up on a couple of sites with the address when searching for Mobile station. So I called and asked the guy if they had gas, could here the tone what kind of silly question is that when he said "yeah we have gas".

That's funny Clint because I just called a random hotel out in the badlands, she laughed at me hard and basically said the same thing. "yes, we do have gas around here"...lol

I could have swore that I had subscribed to the thread eons ago. No wonder I wasn't getting timely updates...LOL! I'll be more active now that I have a truck and mods are going on every day or two.

I plan on travelling as light as possible. I don't have the time or money to have all my survival/recovery gear in place yet. I have a couple Tuff Jugs so'll try and bring 10G for my SCAB. I doubt I'll have a floor jack or Hi-Lift yet. And we do need to head back late Sunday afternoon as I have to work Memorial Day.

Installed the SDHQ Frame Reinforcement Kit this evening. Already put on the SDHQ ABS/Vacuum Guards. AMSOIL is on; 3M Scotchgard is on; ICON Mid Flaps are next.
Radio is here and I still need to program it. CLM gave me all the details for that.

We're getting there. I need some time behind the wheel though in the next couple weeks. Hard when this is the crunch time for my track teams. We'll get 'er done though!

On google maps there looks to be a Mobile station about 1/2 mile south of the camp ground on the west side of 385. Is that not open?

Edit:
Just called and they are 1/2 mile south of Wild Bill's Campground.
Steel Wheel Campground and Trading Post (Mobile Station)
21399 US 385
Deadwood, SD

Not trying to step on toes, but I had been also looking at where I could fill up on the way back to camp each night.
Only planning on bringing 5 gallons extra, but I drive a screw.

do they sell e-30?

Youll have to call and check about e-30.

Im not sure how many of us can actually even utilize that stuff. I know the majority of us have 6.2's.

And whatever you dont have you make do without. Or someone else will have it.
