I think you need a beer, a remote control, and a sofa and relax a bit. You're fine. You're truck is fine. Everything is fine.

Haha - I’m being “that guy” right now and I think you’re right. I got paranoid because my brand new dream truck was two quarts low and I wanted to throw up. I didn’t realize these had a sump or a two stage oil pump. Those two facts alone kind of settle it for me. As long as the sump is full, I’m circulating all of the oil I need.

I guess having a sump prevents a whole lot of issues that could arise from low oil. So the way it works is the oil pump just keeps the sump full no matter the condition but changes based on demand?

Well, the sump is the oil pan. The oil pump pickup is positioned low in the pan so that even with a lower oil level or oil sloshing around due to vehicle movement, it remains submerged. The pan has sufficient capacity to maintain the oil level above the pickup even with oil circulating throughout the engine and the oil level being below specification. Bottom line is if you never saw a loss of oil pressure or had a warning message, you're fine.

Makes me feel a whole lot better. Seriously thank you.

Searched for this exact topic this morning, I bought a 2020 with 16k miles on it at the beginning of the month and my truck definitely has the same sound you describe. On a easy take off between 1500-2000 rpm it had the “gurgle” or slight knock sound you describe. I found it hard to believe it was engine knock as the truck is silent at idle, sounds great when rev’d no load, and sounds great through top end under load. I came here just to see if there was anyone else concerned. But in my experience engine knock only increases with load and rpms and this sound goes away. I’m wondering if the wastegate rattle may be our answer. But rest assured your not the only one now lol.
