Could be...or not. I have a 2010 Lincoln MKT and the Raptor is quieter, smoother and all around more comfortable to drive. The MKT is know for smooth/quiet. I can't imagine what the noise your hearing might be. You should be able to differentiate between wind noise and road/tire noise. That would help narrow down things. It might not only be his first time with off-road tires, it might even be his first truck. If he came from any type of modern luxury car from BMW, Audi, Merc, Lexus, etc then a Raptor is going to be a bit of a transition.
Yep 100 percent agree. Also pends on the road. Some roads just create noise even in a Cadillac. Only time its real quite is a newly paved roadKO2's are pretty quiet for an A/T until they get down to about half tread.
Same here. This is my first truck and this thing is quieter than all our other cars we've owned.First time I got my 37 on the highway I put the exhaust on quiet and was blown away by how quiet it was. Not sure if yours isn't normal or you're just used to something more insulated?
