Would like to know what vehicle the OP owned prior.

But it would appear we have another owner who purchased as a status symbol more than anything.

To the OP, it is a truck with large tires (semi aggressive tires at that). You would absolutely hate M/T tires.

It might not only be his first time with off-road tires, it might even be his first truck. If he came from any type of modern luxury car from BMW, Audi, Merc, Lexus, etc then a Raptor is going to be a bit of a transition.

OP - just read past all the "newbie" comments, people love to act like they are the guy below, probably going to jump their Fraptor this coming weekend.

I have had a few trucks and this one is surprisingly quiet.
My suggestion is to find a way to ride in someone else Raptor (same gen...maybe an event etc etc) and see if the noise is comparable

Could be...or not. I have a 2010 Lincoln MKT and the Raptor is quieter, smoother and all around more comfortable to drive. The MKT is know for smooth/quiet. I can't imagine what the noise your hearing might be. You should be able to differentiate between wind noise and road/tire noise. That would help narrow down things.

I would really wonder about the padding foam you installed around the door seal. I would remove that and adjust your door if they are leaking.

KO2's are pretty quiet for an A/T until they get down to about half tread.
Yep 100 percent agree. Also pends on the road. Some roads just create noise even in a Cadillac. Only time its real quite is a newly paved road

First time I got my 37 on the highway I put the exhaust on quiet and was blown away by how quiet it was. Not sure if yours isn't normal or you're just used to something more insulated?
Same here. This is my first truck and this thing is quieter than all our other cars we've owned.
