Well, I use the amber and white Dually's at night, 100% of the time. I think they're VERY worth the money. The 20" and 40" are not road legal at all. I mean, neither are the Dually's, but they can get away with it. But run the others and it's a guaranteed ticket.

Great pics swoop! What I can tell you guys on the 20" vs. 40" deal is that they're both throwing the same brightness, it's just that the 40" throws more of an area, understand? Picture a giant circle on a wall, the width of the lightbar throws a good amount of it's light within that area, the 20" covering a certain area and the 40" (being wider) covers a bit more. What's great is the residual light that gets thrown out in all directions.....instead of a concentrated beam straight ahead, you also get a good amount thrown out to the sides and above. So as far as "brightness", not much difference between the 20 and 40......how much of it in a certain area, that's where the 40 pulls ahead.
While the 40" is rediculous, shining through the grill does take away a little bit....but I think it's still more than the 20". When we first tried this on my truck at Rigid, shining it on the wall while in the shop showed that the 40" did still throw more than the 20" even when behind the grill. Both of these things are gonna make you happy though, in either combo. I've also run the dually's in addition to the headlights, although the dually's could be run in place of them sometimes too.

Russ from Rigid is pretty cool. I shot him a couple emails about the fog light dually's asking about installation instructions. he sent me the actual instructions they give out so i could take a look. This is definately on my list now that my truck got here.

Swoop...the way your were able to show each light individually...did you wire them to individual AUX switches or something else? Did you put in relays so they can be tied to the low-beam/high-beam ?? Thanks

I wired them like this:
40" LED: AUX 1
20" LED: AUX 2
White Spot: AUX 3
Amber Flood: AUX 4
I am sure that they can be wired into the high/low beams if you used a standard electrical relay.
Back in the dark ages (1980), we used to buy fog lights from companies like Cibié, and for fog lights, the critical issue was the cut off. You did not want light going out above the bulb that would reflect back in your eyes. Do the LED fog lights use optics that way, to give them a sharp cutoff?

My 40" Rigids put light pretty much everywhere downrange. No cutoff to worry about.
