Maybe someone can help me out. I've done the usual mods -- mid-perch, Toyo MTs, 5-Star, CAI and so forth. I live on 2 miles of arizona dirt road, ruts, washes, etc., a great daily workout for a truck like this. I'm in and out 4-5 times a day meaning I drive that road around 15 miles per day.

Same road, same truck.

So for the past few months the bumps and dips seem to be getting progressively worse, now the drive is about on par with my Dually. The shocks seem okay and Im wondering if it could be something like the mid-perch setting? What do you guys think?

This 2011 screw truck has 45K miles presently. Because I drive the same road everyday, I know what to expect and nowadays things seem to shake, rattle and ride like a normal pickup going over the washboards and through the washes.

Any Ideas?

Yeah, maybe that's it. I guess there isn't much more involved that would wear-out that quickly. Thanks.

So, now I guess the search is on for the best shock available for the truck.

I took my shocks of a new truck with next to no miles and the rears will not budge with all my weight on them.
Take one of your rear shocks off and see if you can budge it. If you can get it to move its done.

Yeah, these guys are right. Shocks are in need of a rebuild or upgrade most likely. You might be able to tell if they've been seeping fluid without taking them off.

Mine didn't show much seepage, but they were toast.. On the one that was completely flat, there was a light ring of oil between lower shock body and blue anodized cap.

Not to oversimplify your concern, but have you changed your tire pressures recently?

Probably shocks I already had my fronts replaced once under warranty but I do drive it on rough roads daily. Massive difference in ride with the new ones
