is there a way to test the shocks on the truck to see if they are blown?

Thanks netix. That's what I figured but I was hoping there was a way to do it with them on the truck.

1ntheoc and khcdave -- you know, I did add air to the tires about the same time I noticed the ride change! I put them up to 40psi after noticing they were down to 26--28psi. I put some Toyo MT's on the truck about 6 months ago and the store must have figured that was a good pressure. Tire companies always seem to like the low end of pressure, I guess the ride feels better.

So yeah, maybe my current 40psi is correct but it would sure account for the difference in the ride.

I like the 26psi better, I wonder what that does to my tire wear??? They look like they're wearing great so maybe that answers that question. I'm gonna go let-out some air...lol...thanks for your help.

These shocks require a rebuild much sooner than most anticipate. Especially with hard driving. It's all good

High performance = High maintenance
