Time for an upgrade! I took off the amber covers off my cubes and cut out some amber translucent vinyl to put over the clear lens. The "amber" covers I had on there prior, the light output was definitely yellow! Now that I put the vinyl on, not only do the cubes look better, but the cubes match my parking lights and also match my Rigid amber 20" bar!! Well worth it, should have done this from beginning!

There ya go! Exactly same thing I bought. I intended to use my wife's vinyl cutter to cut out 2"x2" squares (actual lense size). Figured since it was such an easy task, I just cut out 3"x3" squares and applied and trimmed.

This is how I imagined those covers would have looked when I bought them! Didn't expect amber covers to be yellow light. All around it just looks better, no big amber cover over the housing and everything up front matches! I also should say I have a smoked Rigid cover over my 20" amber bar when these pictures were taken.

I have a 2012 with the halogen headlights (hoping to upgrade to the hid ones soon), and I was thinking of having one set of amber and one white, they list the cubes as 6k which is towards blue and I was holing be closer to matching thr stock halogen color...is there an overlay that would make the white match the halogen headlights? Maybe a smoke or something to tone them down? Also, they list them as spot but say flood are available, did you buy the spots or the floods?

I meant to update, but all 4 cubes are always turned on with my headlights at night/morning. No issues at all, one day when weather is better, I'll wire in a relay so I can leave the upfitter switch on and they'll only come on with the parking lights.

Anyone able to point me towards a cheap 20" Amber bar? I am wanting to stay away from the amber vinyl film so that the bar is clear when turned off.
