After market will be nearly the "only" way to go. The BCM will need to be programmed to send the correct signal to the heater module. Usually in vehicles with front and rear heat there are separate modules.

The BCM tells the heater module that the occupant selected low, medium, or high heat. The module then interprets that signal into a voltage / current percentage. High heaat is some where near 90% of max, medium 50%, low 5 or 10%. These values differ by seat and vehicle because foam density, thickness, trim material and heater mat design all play a role.

That aftermarket system should do all this in a closed loop from the vehicle controls / BCM. I don't think there would be a way to take a King Ranch seat and simply stick it into a Raptor and make it work, but you might be able to swap the seats and just purchase the switches and module from the aftermarket company to control the heater mats in the seat.

it is on the list of "Things to do" for my new Raptor.

Thus far, I have verified that you can acquire the heating pads, door switches, door trims for the window/heated switch.

I've also invested in the factory shop manual/wiring diagrams and the VCM2 for programming the climate control unit and body computer.

I'll keep everyone posted, I tend to try and stay under the radar...

Well honestly, I think you could order the frame/heater/switches/wiring on ford parts and slide the raptor seat covers over it. I believe the rear seat in the raptor is the same as the other trim levels.
