Either RCV know how to fix the problem or they don't, which is it? It would seem that they are not putting much effort into it or they would have a working product by now.

I think the number of raptor owners that would be willing to pay the price in not enough to offset the cost. just my opinion. after the first go around they probably figured it was more cost effective to just do specialty work or just stick with jeeps. which the axles for the jeeps are way cheaper. cause there are way more jeeps out there.

I hope this is not the case... would be a major copout if it were true.

Rcv is not the only...... Tom woods axles are bulletproof too but he needs oem raptor axle shipped to him so he can work on em. I cant do that all the way from canada to utah. He makes custom axles and bearing cages for alot of rockcrawlers and rigs running ls7s and they stand up to the abuse.
I have given rcv more than enough time. I call every 3 weeks for updates. They ask for my email and number so when they get updated they can call me back and guess what nothing! I call again and they said they have a meeting about raptors and the shafts and that as soon as the meeting ends they will give me a call to update me. I payed them off back in feb and im very close to taking my money back. I got 8 guys that want rcv axles for their different rigs but after hearing my story they deffinately dont want to deal with rcv even if the product for their rig works fine.
If it was a good company that has a customer waiting for months and months with a completely paid off order they would of shipped some test shafts to me or atleast let me use their test shafts during HAVOC run.
***** sake ive been running oem cv shafts without the inner boots since march. I got working 4wd but just have to carry a ******* grease gun with cv grease and keep adding grease into the bearings so they dont go out on me.....
And cv grease, grease gun were deffinately NOT 2500$ and a 6 month wait!

I know RCV is working hard to fix the problem. I know the guy working directly with them and giving them input on designs changes to make sure the problem goes away. I have seen 2 different sets in the last month. They are close.

Chris Ross is using a one-off that was designed specifically for his truck and the added travel. RCV took a quite sometime to get those made for Chris but they worked during the first two test runs with no issues.
