I met a guy that works with the local Goose Island Distributor and gave him cost on a set a wheels. In return I got a full case of Bourbon County. I've only had one but it was glorious. I compared it side by side with the 2014 BC Stout. Aging that 2014 for a year really brings out the bourbon flavor. I have 2 more that I'll let go another year.

Did you try any of the variants? The barleywine, coffee stout, regal rye, proprietors stout? None of those made it to my neck of the woods

I've had the coffee, proprietors and rare variants for 2015. I have to say the proprietors really stood out as my favorite this year. The maple flavor really comes alive as you drink. I'm pretty sure it was a Chicago only release again this year.


If you can get your hands on either the rare or proprietors, you certainly won't be disappointed.

I like this beer seems like ide be in Germany with this one. Defanent barley tast but you can still tast the hops
