I sent him $25 (I think that is what I sent....been a while) when I was using it to look for my truck, but I must have looked at a 1,000 VIN for all the details as I was going back and forth and at a $ a whack that would have been bit much. Maybe he will add an unlimited option for a reasonable charge.

The per lookup fee is absurd because most dealer listings have outrageous markups. It's a total waste to pay for a VIN lookup only to find out the dealer is asking $20k over. The site is pretty much unusable now.

Charging $20 for unlimited access for a few days is a much better way to do it. Per lookup is stupid.

He changed it last week...right after I found two local 2017s on there for free and then ordered my 2018. It was a handy site, but $1 per VIN "unlock" is absurd. I'm all for capitalism, but I think the market will surprise this guy.

How cheap are you MFs?

Serious question.

He created a site that let you find the exact truck you want thousands less than what you were able to find on your own in a fraction of the time.

So many socialist-by-wallet capitalists on this site, makes me sick.

agreed. price per unit or whatever if its not right nobody will pay.. ur right its all about what a market will bare.. even better somebody can set up their own throw a bunch of ads down the side and make $ that way. plenty of ways to do it.

No one is forcing you to use it... guy spent a lot of time building it, if he wants to make a few bucks off it, I dont see the problem.
