Meh, I had a Sierra Denali with the 6.2. Drove it over 100K miles with no problems. Gas mileage with the 6.2 sucked. It wasn’t a bad truck but if I compare it to the Raptor, there is no contest. Even with modified suspension, I would never trust it off road.

I will raise my hand on the issues as my 6.2l has had lifters replaced twice in 12k miles. I am trying to trade it on my raptor keeping my fingers crossed it doesn’t happen again before the raptor shows up.
I’ve had em, lifters started clattering & replaced under warranty. You have a 100k warranty….but in all honestly I was praying they’d fail again on my 2015 6.2 (before the deer Jumped out & totaled it) so that I could just yank all that DoD crap as an excuse to do a cam swap (& intake/headers) - after that keep it long term wont have an issue.

GM and Chevy is basing their future on the Ultium platform. The pushrod motors are going to be a thing of the past for them as all R&D is going into that.
