That's right... I've been eyeing the Ford Raptor since its inception and have patiently waited for the Super Crew to come out and for a couple leases to expire. I ordered my Raptor March 2011 and just received it today.
I got a Molten Orange 6.2L four door with every factory option except for the graphics packages. The graphic packages, especially the hood one, are great looking but not my style.
My 2 year old son will be in the back, passenger-side. My 4 year old daughter, who pretty owns me by cuteness factor, will be co-pilot directly behind me. I got 2 iPads which will be mounted on the front headrests on long excursions for child occupation. My bulldog will be riding shotgun. My wife... Well, she gets the bed. Things will improve for her once I decide on a tonneau cover.
I have to be honest. I'm a grip driver by nature with a passion for exotics and high-end street cars. The other vehicle in my arsenal is a Nissan GT-R which I ordered 2007 and received the first Super Silver launch edition in the USA in 2008. It's been modified, tested and tuned, to become a Switzer P800 which produces 730 wheel horsepower and over 800 bhp on pump fuel (hence the P).
But the Raptor is just so damn "sick" and I'm a convert to off-road. I'm sure that once I launch my Raptor and get her airborne, I may not want to return to earth for tarmac driving.
