Nice Video, who cam back down that hill?

That hill was a lot steeper than it looks in the vid... and the bottom 3/4 was very soft sand... the first two guys up misjudged a little on the first try but everyone who tried the hill made it easily.

That's what it looked like from my truck...

There's no dust up front dawg

Regarding the hill, there was a trail running across it at the bottom and it was steeper with softer sand than you can see in the vid so it required a running start to carry momentum up and over the top.

ok, so first off I KNOW its a TRUCK... but question. When I drove my truck with tires aired up at 35 (see one of my other posts, I did not know) but anyways it drove really nice! Then when i found out I was running them low, I settled on 42PSI... I noticed a different ride, harder, and it makes sense right? Well I also notice a firmer front end feel over bumps (assume it is the shocks and tires) whereas you can feel everything more... SO, that said, when you guys are running these trails at those speeds, does the sand/dirt make for a smoother (not as firm feel) ride then when on blacktop? I hope this makes sense LOL

Yes, until you hit the washboard crap.

2x what xjr said. I was running 44psi the first day of the Mojave trip, and I was paying for it. bstoner basically slapped me upside the head and said 'air down dummy', I did down to around 25psi and the whole trip took on a different feel. No joke, it was night and day difference.

Yeah, RR5 was the first time I have ever aired down my tires when off road.

****, the first night I made it out to the campsite with 50PSI in the tires.

Next day I aired down to 32psi.

Made a huge difference.
