I guarantee when Ford does the official release on Raptor R . Within the hour Ram will release info on TRX redeye . Just saying
If they do, who cares, this is an ofroad community here mostly, the redeye or blackeye whatever will be street driven, blah blah. Can we just talk Raptors, if we want to talk about street driven machines and compare, lets talk GT500 and Hemi challengers, etc. Not bashing you, I'm just sick and tired of every 2nd thread being about the TRX, like enough already. You trx fanboys have your own forum, go kick each other in the balls over there!

question for you:
What is the highest post count you’ve had here before being banned or abandoning your user id for another?

Ha ha - no. You just don’t like being called out, so we will see your true sour grapes when order books open for the R. I wish you could afford one so that you would have the non-ecoboost experience. Once you try the other side, you will never go back.

No seriously, how many posts did you get out of sasquatch77? I thought it was pretty high. I think that was the highest post count though.

I used my Raptor today and had a great time.

If there was no XRT then there would be no R. As I'm getting to be a old man Escalade V is looking good also.

You are correct, but do we really need the TRX or the R? NO! All that power isn't necessary offroad and if you wanted a s/c, the gen 1 offers plenty of reliability with a Whipple mounted on it. The 5 link and updated suspension and nannies YES, we need those! This is just Ford saying FU to Dodge and most won't be getting or wanting the expensive gas fill ups anymore.

You don’t know what he can afford. However, what we do know is that you’re a Sasquatch who trolls other members for owning vehicles better than the slow and outdated Gen 1 you have devoted your insignificant life to.

I agree that the power isn’t necessary. It’s a novelty; outrageous and fun but definitely overkill. I will disagree that an S/C Gen 1 is reliable; it’s a ticking time bomb.

Speaking of "ticking", (gen 2), time is ticking for that boat anchor and outdated dinosaur you're driving. C'mon man, you know I'm just busting your balls, but I can't wait 'til a Gen 3 R rumbles up next to your outdated jennie and it spits out a cam phaser, ba hahaha. If you're not laughing, well, I tried bro!

You’re not wrong. Most of the time the HP is overkill, but man it’s fun!

I really hope Ford comes out swinging and makes Ram take notice. I’m not sure how many years we have left where we have fire breathing V8’s like this before electric vehicles are 100% shoved down our throats? That said, I plan on enjoying every minute of it. It’s an interesting time to be a vehicle enthusias!
