Raptor Financing question?

Since sales have slowed down due the covid-19 pandemic, I've been keeping an eye on the Raptor pricing. I'm not a fan of Ford, but I do like that particular truck. I love the reliability of my TRD Pro, but the lack of bells and whistles are starting to wear on me. However if Ford offers the 0% for 84 months financing on that truck, I may jump the fence.

The only other option I'm considering is waiting to see what the new Gen TRD Pro will offer. My fear is by the time Toyota breaks out the new gen PRO, the sales drought will be over and everyone will be asking top dollars w/o special financing.

My question is do you guys think Ford will eventually offer special financing on the Raptor?

No but you can get a better deal on them right now, I got $6740 off which in my area has previously been unheard of. I gave them a check so financing wasn’t a concern. You can get a loan from Bank of America for 2.69% and credit unions for probably less. If you are trading or selling your Toyota to offset the cost then the payment with that interest should be within reach. The raptor, gt350, gt500 and HD trucks are exempt from that loan. Ford is basically saying if you can afford these vehicles then you can afford a loan without 0%.

Good points, Guess I could be more aggressive on pricing to offset the finance cost.

I doubt they will do that on any specialty vehicle like a Raptor. My guess is they will provide more discounting toward moving their volume vehicles. Now is a great time to buy if you can swing it. I have to concentrate my financial resources on supporting my engineering business at this time so Ive decided to hold off. And I’m sure the pricing on the next gen tundra pro will not be discounted and will increase, and have my reservations it will be with the money. I have a 17 Tundra Platinum that I had to mod a fair amount and the only thing the pro has going for it is the suspension (at least back in 17)

Doubt they'll do the 0%, but should take money off and do fairly low interest rate, as well as defer payments if you're looking for that.

Now is the time to buy, as soon as things start going back to normal, the deep discounts will likely disappear.

I used to have a tundra, and recently picked up a raptor. Much prefer the raptor.

The 0% for 84 is on XLT only according to the dealer website.

Probably not much chance of significant discounts or financing incentives on Raptor. If you get little to no mark-up, that may be the best deal.

For a street driven vehicle without much performance, maybe the Toyota's are a better choice for you. But compared to a Raptor, the Tacoma or Tundra are total garbage if you plan to do serious off-roading or want to go fast on any surface. Same can be said for any domestic or import truck right now though.
