Wrong forum to be touting Toyota's "reliability in" take that fanboy horseshit elsewhere.

That is definitely some fanboy horseshit. Tundra ain't any more reliable than anything else, and in many ways worse. They're notorious for serious frame rust on an already weak frame, repeat cam tower oil leaks, air injection pump failures, dropped valves, and water pump failures.

**** pro isn't even in the same league as a Raptor, it's Toyota's half-assed attempt to steal sales from prospective Raptor buyers by undercutting Raptor pricing and while charging thousands more for what amounts to a different grille and shocks. Gotta love their "1794" edition too, complete joke and a blatant ripoff of the King Ranch.

My dealer up here says he thinks the 0% for Raptors is coming with all the inventory out there. Probably not for long but to get sales back up to normal. Remember, this is new territory not even these car companies have been through.

It's been a long time since I did 0% on a car note, 2002 to be exact. I seem to recall that the 0% would not work with any other incentive, it was one or the other. I may be wrong though.

I wonder what your dealers have been asking for financing on the raptor...I told them top tier credit and they refused to finance less than 4.5% at 60mo and 5% at 72mo. The starting financing was 7.99%. Self financing they said they’d pull all the discounts. Eventually it work out and I financed through my bank and got the discounts, but I find it ridiculous that top tier credit would only get you 4.5%...is this a nation wide thing with Ford?

That's all the dealership's finance guy/gal. They could have given you the loan for the same rate as your bank, likely, and would have made a few bucks on the note to boot. For every customer like you, there are probably a handful that take the 5% at 72 mo.

I would have thought the same, forgot to mention that two Different Ford dealers gave me the same numbers, different owners and areas. I normally go to a dealer, tell them I have this amazing deal with my bank, and the dealership says they will beat that number...I walk away with a badass deal. This time both dealers said no dice...take the high rate. I still got a good price, but disappointed it didn’t work out like other dealerships where they match or beat or bank.

Weird. I came in with 3.2% from my bank and without even looking at my financing my dealership gave me the choice of 2.99% for 60 months or 3.99 for 72. Took the 2.99 and got the truck at invoice.

There are deals to be made now but 0% financing isn’t one of them now. If you can get the truck at or below invoice and it’s really what you want it’s a no brainer. Interest rates are low as it is now, if you look around you can get 2.xx% now. It’s a good time to be shopping for a raptor

No but you can get a better deal on them right now, I got $6740 off which in my area has previously been unheard of. I gave them a check so financing wasn’t a concern. You can get a loan from Bank of America for 2.69% and credit unions for probably less. If you are trading or selling your Toyota to offset the cost then the payment with that interest should be within reach. The raptor, gt350, gt500 and HD trucks are exempt from that loan. Ford is basically saying if you can afford these vehicles then you can afford a loan without 0%.

This guy basically said it all! I’d agree on everything. If your deciding to get on the Ford band wagon the Raptor would do it. Worked for me and so far no regrets. Otherwise a Superduty of late was another possibility. Again Fords specialty vehicles and top end sellers never qualify for the special deals unfortunately. But things are slow and you may score a good deal. Not to mention rates are down.

Air injection pump? Typical dated emissions control technology.
