Van Bortel also took a trade-in from me which I'm currently still driving seeing I don't have the truck yet. They gave me $3000 more than anyone else did and guarantees the trade-in value no matter mileage when the truck comes in, signed paper work and no deposit. I offered a 5k deposit but they refused it. They told me they would be able to sell the truck if I backed out either way.

Kitty Van Bortel has a few other dealerships and they are top notch in the Rochester area.

To add to this dealership reputation, my salesman told me that he use to sell a few raptors to a fishing and hunting company in Alaska. Last year they ordered 10 Raptors and a few months into the order, the owner called and told them he had to cancel his order as he was going out of business. Van Bortel was like no problem, we will sell all 10 and he did. With no deposit as their policy, the fishing and hunting company in Alaska did not lose a dime.

Please note come Spring, if gas prices are high, your fuel charge may go up. It's low now because gas prices are low. Also Steve quoted me $800+ for ADV but when the truck came in, ADV was $780.

In other words, Fuel and ADV will mostly fluctuate come delivery time.

Since we're a sticky now, I want to make sure our Invoice Pricing is clarified.

Obviously everyone pays ADV and it varies for a variety of reason but as long as it is a reasonable price paid, we will call that "invoice" pricing. If someone tries to charge $1500 for ADV, I think we can agree that is probably not truly the ADV charge but they are tacking on some extra charges where they can.

As to fuel, are we ok with allowing a modest fuel charge $36 gallons at the going rate?

So bottom line, if the truck and options are purchased at Invoice pricing (per multiple sources like Truecar, et cetera) and the D&D, ADV and fuel charges are "normal", then we'll car it a purchase at Invoice. Sound good?

I ordered my Raptor (Supercrew, 801A equip pack) in November 2102, with estimated delivery 12/31/2012 - 1/21/2013.

Joe Cooper Ford of Tulsa: $1,000 above dealer invoice
