Bought a GoPro 8 specifically for this experience. First time learning and using DaVinci Resolve so don't judge my editing skills too harshly. This footage was from the August 7th class, which also had @Yeti Rojo and his wife along with the best driving partner one could have with @VGKRaptor!

Enjoy!

Tip: Watch in 4k.
Looks like a blast will be there on the 24th. Thanks for sharing.

You'll love it. I was given a tip before I left and I'll share it here as it really worked out. Sit in the BACK of the classroom at the start of the day. When they release you go directly to the first truck behind the instructors truck (2nd truck in the line). Our Instructor drove the Ruby Red one right behind the garage door, and that's the one he always uses (verified with someone that took the class before me). You want to be in this truck because for about 6 hours you'll be following him in dry dirt and another truck will be follow you and another behind that one. Further back you go the less you'll be able to see. Also, it's been reported, and I feel like it's accurate, the first driver get more steering wheel time so try and be first. Also @VKGRaptor said the photographer was around when I was driving more as well. Sorry bro.

you have to be right after the instructor,u can follow his path!
how the convoy was form:
one instructor,3 trucks,one instructor,3 trucks,one instructor 3 trucks.
i was in the last group, right after the instructor(truck equipped with radio),they are always looking at you.
at one moment we stop (last group) for 5 minutes, for space to go a little faster!
our instructor was a great guy, just ready for any question.
blue was instructor,i was in grey,in AC (95 )
instructor license plate was Michigan all other was Utah license plate.
it amazing how they cleaned this truck!at end of day was so filthy with dust.

They have a local shop do all the cleaning and it’s incredible. The truck was spotless at the beginning of the day and a complete mess at the end.

just got this

Welcome Reception -

* Your in-person reception is currently suspended. However, you will receive an email at a later date including a video version of your reception presentation. We continue to monitor guidelines in place throughout the country to guide us in the timing of re-introducing program receptions. A final decision will be made, and you updated, at roughly 14 days in advance of your program date.

Got the same message for mine, and so has everyone else for a couple months (or more). It's not going to happen. They will send you a video but it's worthless. The class is still well worth it and they added an extra "gift" at the end to make up for the missed reception.
