random stalling issue

I was just dealing with this same exact issue. My 2013 was stalling when idling or would start idling really rough and the wrench light would appear but would start right back up like nothing happened. It started doing it every once in a while and then gradually got worse. I replaced my purge valve, cleaned the throttle body and maf, checked the plugs and all was good. Spoke to a long time 1st gen raptor owner and said he was having the same issue at one point and it ended up being his key. Luckily I had a spare key that I am now using and I have not had any issues since then! I see some of you have had different fixes so I figured I’d post mine as well.

I had similar issues on a three month old 2010 Raptor, new to me, with 173K on it.
Drove fine for the three hour trip back but since then started stalling on stop lights and then gave me the spanner a couple of times.
It all started getting really bad when one day I smelled intense burning smell coming from the passenger side of the dashboard.
The truck is at a dealership, needs a new ECM/PCM.....
2K is what I am going to pay to get it back on the road.
