And I don't disagree. The raptor is a limited production specialty truck. It's cool. Like a z06 vs a grand sport corvette. But for $10k less I got what I got and it will serve me just fine. My raptor would be 95% street if I had one anyway, so no real justification for it.

I'm thinking around 3.5 metric tonnes or more, stock raptor weighs 3 US tons, 6.2 weighs about 600 pounds or so from what I remember, then the 6.7 weighs around 1,200 from what I remember, two of those would be 2,400 lbs, minus the 600 of the 6.2 and you still have 1,800 lbs on top of the stock weight, basically 4 US tons or 3.6 metric tonnes, I'm sure something would break, just not sure if it would be the truck or the earth underneath it

You're pretty close, the dry weight of the 6.7 Is 900 pounds with oil and fuel it's 1100 so you are basically doubling the weight on the front end. I'm not really willing to do anymore research but a bulletproofed 6.0 or 6.4 might be lighter weight options to the new engine plus you would have less emissions crap. A straight piped 6.0 has probably one of the best exhaust notes I've ever heard.

yeah, I will only post wet weights cause they're the only ones that matter, you don't run an engine dry

nope :emotions133: haha

Location, location, location

Location, purpose, mods, wallet, ego

Iraced an honda civic once with a fiat panda
Just because i knew he would win. But a speed camera won from him in the end. I laught my ass off

Diesels are to winners in towing
Torq to weight they win
But agility and weight is where they (in general) lose

Both have pros and cons
Its all down to needs and wallet in the end

A few years ago I saw a not-so-special looking Ram diesel run a 10.5 sec 1/4 mile at a dragstrip in central Georgia. The DA that day/evening was about 3500.

To say the least, I was extremely impressed.

Density altitude. Diesels have acrophobia like any other vehicle because of less dense air. Dense air = better combustion
