I’d like to post my experience with this problem. My 22’ raptor began showing my mode unavailable, see dealer for service notification. I tried a couple of things starting with disconnecting the negative battery terminal to hard reset the electronics. Did not work.
Note: - (This has happened before and I was able to fix it this way in the past by removing negative battery terminal)
I also tried pressing down on all my fuses in the fuse box, which some seemed loose but still did not fix the issue. I then crawled under my truck looking for any loose connections around my shocks and noticed a wire rubbing against the shock on the front passenger side, the wire had rubbed enough to expose the wire. I used some electrical tape to re wrap it but that also did not work. After taking it to the dealership they confirmed it was my front passenger side shock that was causing the issue. Sounds like the frayed wire caused the shock solenoid to malfunction so they are going to order me a new solenoid which is about 300-400$ not including labor.
For anyone reading with this problem, even if the “easy fixes” worked. You may want to verify that your wires are ran in a safe place and not rubbing against anything to prevent further damage, I also asked the dealership to check my other wires and tywrap them in a more secure position for the future. Hopefully this helps someone!
