I use my wife. I have trained her to turn it off the minute she sits in my truck.

+1. My wife loves to push my buttons.I use my wife. I have trained her to turn it off the minute she sits in my truck.
I pulled the plug 2 years ago. My auto stop/start is deactivated. Takes 2 seconds and no ill effects. I can easily plug back in just as fast if I need to tow.
Under the drivers side what? The dash? The drivers seat?
Too expensiveI used the auto-stop eliminator. Works great, takes 10 minutes to install and retains all other truck functionality.

Isn’t this dangerous? Can you post a picture on where to connect the wire? I really want to get rid if the annoying stop/start...He’s talking about the start/stop annoyance issue. Only problem with doing it that way is each time you want to tow something you have to keep plugging and unplugging. If you pull the switch on the dash and short the switch with a piece of wire you get rid of the annoyance and your tow isn’t affected.
