I have had Duratracs since before TRR. They were GREAT on the road...what 4400 miles in a week? No vibrations, very little road noise and they wore pretty well considering how hot mine must have gotten. A little cupping, but I was running very low PSI to/from the ranch and definitely beat on them a bit.

Offroad, they got a bit chewed at TRR just from the limited time I spent on the track. Ryckman managed to blow one out on the rocks, they are definitely soft.

Snow, I've had enough snow tires to tell you these will be amazing in the snow.

They are lighter, quieter and cheaper than TOYOs...but I would imagine the TOYOs will hold up better off road from chunking and punctures though.

As for the look I absolutely love how aggressive they are and thought I was compromising on looks for overall functionality but after seeing them on my truck next to plenty of trucks with TOYO's I say it's a toss up.

Just depends on what your doing. There will be a power and mileage advantage for the duratracs, although probably won't be as noticeable. The toyos will definitely be more offroad friendly and more durable. If winter driving is highly important, the choice becomes pretty easy. The toyos might not be bad, but the duratracs will be much better.

For what it's worth, we haven't had a single flat in a race and we run dot toyos on the Trophy Truck.

Or Falkens. Are they winter rated 6.2? Like the snowflake and mountain deal? I'd choose between them and the toyos. I just don't like the look of the duratracs. They look weird to me.

They Don't have the snowflake or mountain, but they have my approval lol.

Very comparable to duratracs. (Brother has em on his truck, I compared the two)

My buddy has Toyo's, and with only 7000 miles on his truck he's switching to the Falkens, after seeing how well mine have held up to abuse. He has a similar driving style (lots of spinning, lots of sliding) and his Toyo's are TRASHED in the rear... he doesn't even want to rotate them to the front because of how chunky they are!

People will catch on... glad I've been able to demonstrate their durability for the friends I know personally that know how I drive.

Ditto.
After running mine, and showing my friends how well they hold up, I've convinced 3 people I personally know to run them, and countless people on forums. All with nothing but good things to say.

So many people are so worried about how aggressive something looks. Personally, function over form. If it doesn't work the best for my driving, I won't run it. Who cares what it looks like if it doesn't hold up to the driving style.

Not saying the other tires mentioned are bad, but people need to consider other variables besides looks.

or just get falkens

Why would you put street tires on an off-road truck?

Half of the street tires have more aggressive tread than those?

When's the last time you have seen a hard packed motocross tire look like a street bike tire or even a super moto tire?

Street tires?!? Haha... Do some googlin' my friend.

Here's a collection of reviews from Off Road magazines, all praising them:
