My buddy has Toyo's, and with only 7000 miles on his truck he's switching to the Falkens, after seeing how well mine have held up to abuse. He has a similar driving style (lots of spinning, lots of sliding) and his Toyo's are TRASHED in the rear... he doesn't even want to rotate them to the front because of how chunky they are!

People will catch on... glad I've been able to demonstrate their durability for the friends I know personally that know how I drive.

convinced me after seeing his tire compared to my stock bfg, especually when the tire you can buy for low 200's. and they even withstood an m1000 directly under the tire with barely a mark on it after.

Why would you put street tires on an off-road truck?

Half of the street tires have more aggressive tread than those?

When's the last time you have seen a hard packed motocross tire look like a street bike tire or even a super moto tire?

Hahahaha street tires.

And since when was the raptor a motocross bike? I thought it was a 6000+ lb truck.

Wake up, and do some reading next time before you make yourself look like an ass in front of the whole forum.

Oh, and I dare you to list those street tires that have a more aggressive tread. C'mon, do it, list the 50% of street tires out there that have a better tread pattern for offroading. I bet you can't even list 25% of street tires that exist.

May as well mount some Pilot Sport Cups on your truck.:driver:

I run the 37x13.5/18's and they work very well... On road and off. Personally I do not care what they look like but there are a lot of folks who buy on looks alone--makes them feel better lol but for me it is how something performs period. These tires perform.

At the end of the day, all of the tires discussed in this thread are excellent and it simply comes down to personal preference.

I know I love my Toyos...and I'm sticking with them! :head3:

Oh man, forgot t about that!

Yeah, the Falkens are explosive resistant! Haha. I drove over a buried explosive of some sort on the Death Valley run, which caused it to explode under my tire, sending smoke and dirt flying... Scared the shit out of everybody in the area!

Damn! Any video of that?!
Unfortunately no... we had just parked for a photo op, and as I was pulling out, I turned the wheel hard to the right, and the force of the tire turning on top of the dirt must have cause enough friction to set off whatever was burried.

Sounded like a shotgun went off under my truck, and all we saw was white smoke. Poor Sharyn was standing like 12 feet away when it went off, scared the living daylights out of her!

We all just sorta froze... said, "What the HELL was that?!?!" and started looking around, noticed pieces of red paper all over, from whatever exploded.

Definitely the craziest thing I've ever witnessed.
