So all you guys who adjust them on the truck realise there is a set screw you need to loosen on the lower spring holder, right? You are dragging (read gouging) the set screw against the soft aluminum shock body. Just so you know.

yeah that set screw is easy to get to once you get the spring compressed a bit
This is the way that I did it on the truck:Any new updates or input here? I am thinking of doing mine tomorrow at the auto hobby shop and would like to cut the time and effort in half if this is a good way to go. If I can get the compressor on just enough to hold tension and ease the set screw out without ******** it up, then compress some more and reinstall on the middle perch... I'm gonna go for it. I'll definitely check those torques while I'm in there though!
