My buddy ordered a F-350 this way. It's doable, but the receiving dealer weren't very nice and put him on the bottom of the priority list to get helped. He was there 5 hours to do the paperwork and pick it up. Super disappointing.

There are over 250 Raptors in your locale within 500 miles according to AutoTrader. Go buy one or put an order in for one for invoice or a little less... You are making this much more complicated than it needs to be.

I see you're in Windsor. We use to bike and rollerblade the Poudre River trail when it was first put in. Late 90's I believe. We were in Greeley at the time.

You should be able to get a better deal on one that's already in the dealers inventory. I sold my 18 Raptor back in Jan and ordered a F350 Sport/Tremor. F350 arrived in March and I missed the Raptor.

Was going to order a 20 at invoice, however I purchased one out of their inventory for invoice minus holdback. Couldn't beat that deal at the time.

Folks claiming to get $13K off, I would like to see their buyers order. I posted my exact numbers on another thread, but this is close. MSRP was $73,600 and invoice was $69,100. Holdback was approx $1,885. Roughy $6,500 off. Anyone getting $13k off would put the dealer losing money.

Timing has a lot to do with Raptor purchases. Two months ago was probably the optimal time to purchase, now that the plants haven't produced any and dealer lots are getting thin, dealers might hold out on what inventory they have.

Best wishes!

I've received 2 quotes today. Both almost the same. MSRP $73,500, Invoice $68,500. Waiting to see if I can do better. If not, I'd be happy at those prices.
