The time to buy is ASAP, IMO.
Limited supply, depending on location people are buying again and the threat of no 2021 Raptor means the dealers are regaining the advantage again on pricing.

I am waiting on my 2020. Rapid Red, 801A with about everything else! Ordered in early Mar before shutdown and was started build on MAY 20th. Is now built and in transit to my dealer, Steamboat Motors, Steamboat Colorado. $1000 over invoice, and the lowest price I could find from 2 dealers in the area. Expected to arrive by the end of June. All the dealers in the Denver area that I checked with wanted to start at MSRP and discount from there. None were close to this price. This is a small dealer with a good rep. I don't know if they will repeat this offer, but talk to the sales manager, Jimmie Breslin. Good luck!

If my east coast deal doesn't pan out in the next day or so, I will. My wife and I were married in Steamboat. First wedding performed at the Steamboat Grand. I'll PM you if need be. Thanks

Put down the crack pipe, you’re not getting a 2020 order at invoice price unless you get A plan from Ford, and even then you’d have a hard time.

All the 19s I’ve seen lingering on lots in April are gone. A lot of the 20s I saw are gone. People aren’t afraid to buy anymore and they’re showing up in droves. Don’t let anyone tell you there isn’t a demand for these trucks, there definitely still is. Even though the F-150 is the second oldest 1/2 ton right now, the Raptor is still king of the hill in most peoples’ minds, including the casual buyer who will look at one and then sign and drive for an XLT.

You might get a good deal if you can find a dealer who wants the truck gone, or if you have a good working relationship with them. That’s it. You’re not going to magically waltz into a dealer and demand an ordered Raptor at invoice. Not going to happen. Dealers want to move the inventory on the lots for an easy sale, not deal with an ordered vehicle for minimal return. Sorry, just the way it is.

Not true. I bought my 2020 for invoice and posted the salesman's info on this forum. Several members confirmed invoice pricing with them.
OP just likes to post all day long and never buy anything.

That. Prices are just going up from here. I snagged mine last month during the height of the Chinese Virus lockdown. I was the only customer in the dealer that afternoon. Got it for about 13K less than I could have two months earlier. What made the deal was them giving me TOP dollar for my trade also. In my area at least, they are almost back up to MSRP + 10-15K depending on the model.
