So, as a lot of you my rear end was squeaking.
With the suspension fully drooped, I sprayed ******** Spray in between the separated leafs, the upper and lower shackle bushings and the front mount bushings for the leafs. I went for a drive this morning (down Melrose to see the looting carnage in my hood) and the truck was DEAD silent.

Why would you spray ******** spray on your truck?? I'm not judging, just seems odd.

My rear end was squeaking after @Oldfart and @smurfslayer paid me a visit. Used a little extra lube and squeak was gone.

I apologize, usually guys only squeak while we are still there doing our "adjustment".

What is a "tip insert"? Mine has done it almost since new. Of course, the time I took it to the dealer, it was silent. I think it was raining that day.

The "tip insert" is when someone promises to "Just put the tip in". It's often a lie.

Jack the truck up by the diff - put jackstands toward the rear of the frame, take rear wheels off, slowly let jack down until full droop. If you can't get the jack out under the diff, your jackstands aren't high enough.

Obviously the best way to achieve full droop is in a very hot dry sauna. If you almost step on them, you have achieved full droop.

A question that cries out for @Oldfart to answer...

I am quite the technical guy for these sort of problems.
