2019 802a. I seem to have a hard time locking and then unlocking. Do I press the black button on the handle. I’m pretty sure I’m doing something wrong/stupid.

Don’t pull when unlocking, make sure to pause a sec once your hand touches backside of handle, then pull.

You are not alone I have the same problem. It unlocks, then locks again when I pull the handle. I must be hitting the black button as I pull the door handle. Operator error.

As a side note and cautionary tale...

I got back from the beach and was faced with a Raptor full of unpacking to do. First thing my wife does now is secure her key, so as not to make us an easier theft target, unfortunately, while I’m offloading the bed cargo, she goes into the cab and sets off the alarm.

This was exacerbated by my 117db Marco air horns. My wife was unamused at this.
She repeated it for 2 more attempts at removing cargo; first getting the front unloaded, then both rear doors. Easily stopped, I had my key, so in a fit of frustration I put the key in the cab for her. problem solved. Temporarily.

So, I go to pull some gear from the back seats, open the back door and... set the alarm off.... <DOH>
