Are you guys that desperate to get into these trucks to pay nearly MSRP? Seems to me if you're patient and wait a while, you could get a better deal a few months down the road. Ultimately, it's your money and you decide what to do with it. If you want it that bad just take the deal. I personally wouldn't take it and just wait it out instead.

On my truck, there is a $4553 difference between MSRP and invoice price. I am paying $700 over invoice. You are talking about paying $1000 under MSRP. That puts us at $2853 difference. Even if you were comparing directly to invoice, you are talking $3553 difference. Mind you, that is on my build and yours may be different. The more options you add, the greater the separation.

What I'm saying is that you are the only one that will know if you will be satisfied with the deal. Just trying to give you some numbers for comparison. Numbers that you already knew anyway.

Once Ford takes your order and it's official. Let me know on this thread!

If you gotta have it now, there's no decision to be made. Unless you're willing to do more legwork and find another dealer who is willing to deal and place an order today.

You're already looking at waiting 4 or 5 months. Waiting for the market to soften in general will take another 4 or 5 months beyond that.

No, patience grasshopper. There is a big Ford/Dealer meeting Thursday and the dealers will then know they can order as many customer order retails raptors as they want. I have 2 dealers here in AZ that are offering 1% over invoice, about $700, pending Thursdays meeting.

Also see the thread from the CA buyer that a Raptor at $50 over invoice and having it shipped to CA for about $750. That dealer is taking more orders at $50 over invoice. If you got money to burn and don't care about the price take the deal, other wise be savy buyer.

Thanks for ALL the replies.

I placed my down payment on the truck today. Order complete. I am not a hundy on the carbon fiber package nor the color. As we get closer to the build actually taking place (after October 23rd) I'm sure Ford will have more/better materiel for consumption which will answer more questions.

It was a $1000 off the sticker, which I assume is the same as MSRP.

It is the same, unless their sticker includes an addendum.

Today's update, dealer 1 at MSRP done. Dealer 2 2k over invoice. Dealer 3 waiting for numbers, asking for 1k over invoice.

New update, 3 local dealers out all want MSRP, 1 local dealer 1k over invoice but #3 to order. 2 Pa. Dealers from list on here 500$ over invoice both seem good to work with but far from me. Received a letter from another dealer today 30 mins from house,( the one your f150 is worth big $ to trade.). Called him and he will also do 500$ over. Meet tomorrow to order truck. Oh, 1st on his list.
