Wasn't sure where to put this, but yeah... Anyways, my dad bought a cheapo pressure washer from Home Depot. It's a Cleanforce Model # CF1400.

Put it through some good use yesterday to get all the Georgia clay from the mudding that day. After about 1.5 hours of on/off use, the thing starts going really loud as if the pressure was constantly on but I get no pressure through he gun. Go online to read stuff about the pressure washer and I've concluded my motor is going bad. Needless to say, it'll be returned.

So, with that POS gone... My dad will be in the market for a new one. Any recommendations? I'd like one with nice accessories like a foam attachment to wash the cars and a nice wand that gives a good 10 - 30 degrees.

Thanks guys

even those "cheap" Husky gas pressure washers from the Home Depot are very decent. my friend bought one to do a house and a basketball court and has had it for a few years now. i even borrowed it a couple times.

Thanks for the reply. I should have mentioned that we'd only buy an electric pressure washer just for the simplicity. Easier to upkeep and stuff. But thanks though

I built my own from northern tools... I will post some pictures tomorrow since I need to get it out... If you are looking for something lik that style I have no advice since they are all to low pressure. For me, I prefer removable tips over the adjusting screw tip.

GARBAGE....My brother bought one similar to that and it died a year later.
Biggest waste of money.

We had one that lasted us maybe 3 years. Worked well and then it started leaking. 3 years for an electric is pretty good. I can't remember the brand now, but it was nice.

The pressure is perfect for washing cars, which is what we mainly use them for.

I was looking into this and it seems the reviews are kinda mixed. Do you have any first hand experience?

I have a 2750 psi with a Techumseh motor and I've had it for close to 10 years and still runs like a champ.
Like Hockster said the adjustable tips are awesome and can be used from washing your car to powerwashing the deck/ fence whatever.
Every time I saw my brother use his I sweer I could peeee harder then it. ;)

I have one and have beat the crap out of it. My gardener barrows it for half my neighborhood too.

Works pretty good.

Sounds good! Mind if i ask how long you've had it? Also, I can't really tell from the pics but it does look like the connections are brass right? Good if they are so no leaks in the future.
