I mean really, on an empty tank and a .15 cent difference on average, it's a $5.10 difference.

If you're complaining about $5.10 on a 70k truck....

Where are you finding a $0.15 difference!?! I'm up in Oregon and typically it's $0.30, though I have one station that I go to that is $0.20. We still have $2.40 gas at the moment. To answer the original question, premium will give you more power and slightly better fuel economy, though typically not enough to cover the price difference. It's a fairly small difference in price and gas is sooo cheap right now. That said, running regular or mid won't hurt your engine. I myself have always ran premium in my ecoboosts.

I run premium. At ~16k miles a year, it costs me about $400/year more for gas prices in my area. That's a no brainer for me.

if you have a boosted motor (turbo or supercharged) you must should run premium. Normally asperated, get no benefit from premium.

In a Raptor...yes...you "CAN" run cheap 87 gas, but your 450 hp motor will only make about 390hp, and you will see about a 1mpg drop in fuel economy.

Premium 93 Octane only for me...

I also have the 91 PRX and 91 Perf Tow tunes in case I will be driving out of state where 93 is not available.

And I wish it was only a .15 cent difference between the two in Texas... ;)
