It's a plastic cover above the rear view mirror. If I get tired of turning off the pop-up every time I start the truck, I might just cover the camera with a piece of tape.

I turned lane assist off by pressing the button on the center console. This is why I love forums. I've hated the Lane Keep since day one and had no way to turn it off. I was able to turn off Collision Warning but not Lane Keep. Thanks for posting this guys!

I don't think that will work, as I have gotten the same message when there is heavy frost and the camera can't see anything. It's a plastic cover above the rear view mirror. If I get tired of turning off the pop-up every time I start the truck, I might just cover the camera with a piece of tape.

Figures, guess I'll just have to close the message every time. So @FordTechOne , how do you explain going in to limp mode when the pre-collision was "off" under the dash settings?
Let me rephrase.... the light on the dash came on and truck went into limp mode with the "wrench" light while slowly accelerating past 80mph with no cars in front of me. This happened with the camera plugged in and the pre-collision disabled in the dash.
I had to turn the truck off, lock it and after a few minutes started the truck then everything was back to normal.
