Power steering cooler

I went with the Icon powersteering cooler. Bolt on brackets are nice and solid but the cooler is cheaply made. The pieces on the top and bottom of the fins are barely attached and feel like they will fall off. But as long as I dont blow another pump 250 miles from civilization I'll be good

Do these reservoirs hold significantly more fluid? I'm not challenging it or the theory but can a tiny bit more make that much difference?

they hold more and are aluminum so they get rid of heat quicker than plastic. the other plus is the baffling inside doesnt let the fluid captivate and foam which is a big issue as well. with that said the fluid gets very hot even with the added aux cooler. so the more u can keep the fluid temp down the better

Looking at the ICON I have, I think it holds more than stock, by 10% maybe?

It also does look nice! But I just have to stop the leaks at the elbow connectors For those with ICON reservoir, do you just tight the shit of it?

Is there a drain plug on the rack? My trucks at ford so I can't check. I want to completely drain all ps fluid and replace.

No I could not find one. I think you have to flush it much the same way ya flush a transmission fluid by using the pump.
