Nap town whats up. Keeping the heat and aeration of the PS fluid down will make that pump work out a little longer. I had an RPG PS res and that helped out my pump problems so the next thing I out drove was my Rack. I'm hoping someone makes a rack that people like me and Yukon would buy up in a heart beat since we go through them like others go through tires. Corey cough...cough... Now I have killed a Rack at Havoc, and one at Raptoberfest. I'm wondering if I need to start stocking up on racks so I can attend events.

I ended up taking the filter out of my pump line setup. It seemed to be adding pressure to an already failing power steering pump. Not sure I will replace it with the stock pump.

I haven't had a chance to read this thread yet, but I saw on that other raptor forum that someone upgraded to this rack.

I have seen that up close and personal on a friends rock buggy. Not sure if it will react the way we need it to on this truck. Who knows though. Anyone want to be a guinee pig?

He had the magnafine filter like you have. I didn't get mine installed prior to havoc. Wonder if it would have helped catch the broken rack?

Regarding the pressure cap on the RPG reservoir, it is a 13lb cap. Perhaps we should try a 7lb cap?

Exactly what Yukon said. It may have been nothing but with the pump being week there was a definite difference when I took out the filter. It allowed me to get 2 more runs in before I completely crapped the bed.
