These are Faux bead lock rings, you can just unbolt them at anytime as they are not touching the tires. They are just for looks unless you buy the real bead lock rings, you can tell the difference as the fake rings only have 12 bolts and real ones have 24 bolts>>>

I'll have to check into that. Was thinking of a more durable solution such as powder coating. I am not sure how that will stand up to the hard winters here especially with all of the sand/salt they put down.
I have done plasti dip on random car parts over the years, only thing thats ever messed it up has been me. I did my wheels and it stood up to 3 years of Michigan winters and car washes no problem.
We have our beauty rings powder coated and it is a much nicer finish than plasti dip finish i will say that.

I've done plastidip and they looked great for awhile. Then the edges started to peel. I ended up getting other rims, so think I might take the factory rims in to get powder coated. Does anyone have any pics of what they did? Can they do a gloss or matte black?

Odd, there are shops by me where if you drop your car/truck off in the morning, they will turn them around in one day.

I plan on getting the stock wheels powder coated black. It seems like there is not a good option unless you have a spare set of wheels and tires. How is everyone doing this? Take it to a tire shop to have them remove the tires then taking the rims to a powder coater? I dont want to leave it in the garage on jack stands if I dont have too. Ideally, it would be nice if I took it to a place where it was a one stop shop.
I found a place in CO that specializes in powder coating wheels. I just dropped it off in the morning and picked it up that evening. Only one place I could find would do it though… everyone else wanted me to take the wheels off and bring them in.
