touched, but I grew tired of the noise, weight and relatively poor street performance.
This sentence makes this thread baffling. 13.5 wides are pointless if you drive 99% street. More unsprung weight, more rolling resistance creating slower acceleration, stopping and fuel milage. less agile , slower suspension cycle, louder, harder to balance. More stress on ball joints and other angles, alignment implications , harsher ride with greater feedback inside the cab. The list goes on. Only advantage would be airing down sub 15psi with bead locks and crossing very loose loose low traction surfaces like deep sand, deep snow or rasputin mud season in russia .

Stick with 12.5 and get a balance of the lightest wheel and tire you can find in a load range thats durable enough for your usage case. Theres a reason people who race spend a shyte ton on the absolute strongest wheel with the absolute lightest weight tire wheeel combo.
Toyo and nitto , cooper stt will be the biggest ( true to printed size)and with most /more robust compound (weight) . Miki tompson, falcon , maxxis are your mids. BFG , yoko, general are lighter in c loads.
