If the dealer is willing to replace it with another plastic pan...and your dealer is cool...maybe see if they'll 'replace' it but put that new metal one in instead? Unless you're like me and you'd just rather do it yourself knowing it'll be done right...pain in the ass for sure.

Called the change back to aluminum pans back when the first ones plastic starting failing and everyone was assuring Gen II guys it was just a bad RTV seal.

I'm sure with enough time, RTV, love and caressing- eventually a plastic oil pan could be stopped from leaking, but, it's obviously a defective design. If it was a solid design, they'd still be using it. Designing, testing, casting and implementing a new aluminum oil pan on the line was NOT cheap.

Enjoy having a truck that doesn't leak oil.

Yup, that's the most frustrating part. From 2018.5 onward they got rid of the plastic pan so they KNOW it is an issue, but yet they won't go good on it. That's okay, I'LL fix it.

If I wanted it to leak again, I would bring it back to Ford to try installing an oil pan correctly for a 4th time....
