my flag is off a hitch insert it’s a bit low
something from the bed is better if you don’t have a tonneau in the way.
i’ve been there probably 10 times alone never got stuck and i tend to do some dumb things, however it is dangerous with steep bluffs etc many times i get out to look over an edge before plunging.
air to less than 20psi
it’s a great experience and you can camp too for $10
weekends are…. stupid….

Understand the air down… how much difference with different tread patterns?

Never done sand, but I’d like to (when ever I get my truck back!).

How are you guys mounting the flag pole? Been meaning to the take a trip up there but haven’t figured out the pole situation.

mt tires will do better in sand than at tires.

I think a load c all terrain is better
you want soft sidewalls and tread that floats not digs in

with the at tires sand builds up inbetween the treads. the mt have wider spacing which allows the sand not build up as much/not stay stuck. it just comes down to how you drive. both will work. some tire manufacturers state their mt is better for sand, others do not.

Finally got it to upload.. First time for me to use the 'kinetic' rope.. Seen for ever and I've had it used on me before and honestly, love the concept of it.
