The spark device is great.

Installed.

I get about 30 down and 20 up and it seems good. I’ll see if any issues long term use... but Oh man... the tablet just gained more awesomeness!
Guy,
Just curious if you did not have the build that included the 4G wifi capability built into your system.

2017, 802a did not have a WiFi hotspot.

I guess that now begs the question of how far the trucks with the built in 4G systems reach outside the vehicle. I know my phone picks up possible connections from other vehicles while on the highway.

Split screen and full screen are available but as of right now, the “console” screen which is where your sync3 is does not split screen.

Where that bottom pane is you’re soon going to see virtual knobs and such that replace the stock hardware buttons. It’s being worked on now. It didn’t make it into the first release. The way I understand it, what you see there is a virtual placeholder.

It does look better than the factory 2005 screen.

But I need to see something else in the lower half. Can you run a Nav map down there with sync up top?

Guy when and if you have a chance for us guys that need a big font on our phones can you check if when using CarPlay and the phones larger text size in the phones general/accessibility section (see pic) is being used that the phone music text and Siri icons on the left side of screen are functioning properly? Currently on my standard screen it takes double taps and is very buggy when larger texts are used. Wondering if bigger screen will finally solve this.

You’ll be happy to know there are accessibility options on the tablet as well to increase the “zoom” scale of the text and such.

I’ll check in on your issue next time I’m in the ol Raptor.

Awesome to know thanks. Right now I have to decide on being able to read texts easily and have a non responsive CarPlay screen or working CarPlay and always having to use reading glasses for the phone. I would say getting old sucks but there are definitely worse situations so I won’t complain.
