You cannot do a perch mod on the new 2017 because it has a V6 which is lighter and if you move to the mid perch on a 3.0 fox shock, it will suddenly become heavier because its higher in the air.
So, gravitational acceleration IS actually dependent upon the distance between the centroids of the two objects in question, as given by

g0 is the standard gravitational acceleration constant
re is the earths radius
h is the height above sea level
so, in reality, the Raptor will weigh LESS if you raise it's CG by moving the front end suspension up to mid-perch....
but I doubt if you'll be able to measure the difference
