Ok I’m running triple fog lights with SPV wiring harness’. I’m running the outer most on my factory fog switch and the inner 2 bd squadron pros off aux 1 upfitter. I’m running them through a mini relay from John and it’s been fine for months. The other night the road was flooded in a bad storm and I hit a huge pool of water that slowed the truck down and I’m assuming did something to my lighting. Tonight I remote start the truck and one of the pros is partially illuminated. The upfitter is off. Even if I turn the truck off now it stays partially illuminated. Almost like it is backlit. The fog does function to full bright. Does anyone know where I should start to find why it’s doing this? Is this wiring or the light itself. Any help appreciated.

You have a short and/or your relay is bad. Why are you using a relay? You don't need a relay at all. Your upfitters provide power and are already fused/relayed. That's what they are for.

Take the relay out of the equation and you'll be fine. I've seen this with bad relays because the relay isn't actually OFF but it's not quite ON either. It's broken.

Aux 1 is running 4 squadron pros. I’m over the amperage of the switch without the relay

I’ve searched and can not see this discussed before. On a ‘24, does anyone have insight on the fuse rating for the factory fogs controlled by the fog light switch? All I can find in the manual are fuses for the left and right headlamps. No mention of a fog lamp fuse. Appreciate any feedback.

Not 100% sure on the amperage rating for the factory fog circuit, but here are the ratings for the rest on a 2024

This is a 2024 F150 Raptor (2021-2023 are different)

1740149702212.png

173 is Upfitter 1 (Upfitter 3 if you have fogs) - 15 Amps
174 is Upfitter 2 - 15 Amps
175 is Upfitter 3 (Upfitter 1 if you have fogs) - 10 Amps
176 is Upfitter 4 - 10 Amps
177 is Upfitter 5 - 5 Amps
178 is Upfitter 6 - 5 Amps

I may be wrong but the factory fogs may not use a fuse but might be tied into the BCM and it controls the circuit being on/off. Not sure what the amperage rating is on that circuit though but we've ran 6 amps total (3 per side) without issues.

Since I’m in the weeds here, what is the Electronic Toll Collection circuit? The book has it as a 5A circuit. Interweb has no information on it.
