When I spoke to Jamal (a very reliable source within Ford) he denied the truck being designed for mid perch. This is documented on this forum.mberger is right. It was designed for mid-perch. The regulatory liberal tree huggers made them drop it. Typical. Comes from a very reliable source within Ford.
Exactly! He also added that he didn't understand why people would change the preload on the springs.I had thought at some point Jamaal had said he wished the shocks were never adjustable.
Doesn't look like a full size.
Thats what she said.
I guess I just don't understand why Ford would put 3.0's on this new truck and still keep the front end so low. I know ride quality is important, but these trucks (at least the Gen1's) ride so good at mid perch that it would seem they would have raised them up a tad over bottom perch.
