$275 is a good price with alignment. You don't need the alignment cams, but it does make their life easier if you have them.

I know this is probably a dumb question but figured I'd post in here as opposed to another new mid perch thread. - when I was on the phone with my local truck shop (Lowcountry 4x4 charleston SC) the guy kept telling me mid perch was a horrible idea, and to get their "raptor specific spacer". I kept telling the guy that I just want it adjusted to mid perch, he finally said "fine, but the ride will be crappy, and you will be preloading the shocks alot, but I guess we will do it." So my question is, does he have any clue what he's talking about? All I've heard is how the ride is so much better.

My local 4x4 shop tried to sell me that also. If you do some searching there is a thread about using leveling blocks. I choose to do the mid perch on mine and like it a lot.

I think it was BigJ on here who did the spacers and when he did a checkup on his it was causing all sorts of problems so he took them out and went to Mid Perch. Haven't heard of any problems from anybody that's on mid perch. Yes, the ride is ever so slightly stiffer, but it's not harsh and actually seems like it increased the handling capabilities of the truck on and off road.

Ok - I'm gonna do the mid-perch tomorrow at Folsom Lake Ford here in the Sacramento area. I called Central 4WD and 4 Wheel Parts and both of them said that they send the trucks to Folsom Lake Ford anyway and don't want to mess with the Raptor.
